About Us

World Schools is the non-profit arm of Globe From Home - the first EdTech company to offer live-streamed, virtual, world travel-based climate change education to learners in the Global North, with a view to achieving a tangible reduction in their personal carbon footprints (potential reduction of 118 GT of emissions by 2050).

Research from international organizations such as Project Drawdown show that providing universal high-quality education, especially to girls in developing nations, can lead to a further reduction of 70 GT in CO2 emissions.
Inspired by this, Globe From Home set up the World Schools, a network of free online schools where climate-aware individuals from the Global North can engage in climate action by sharing knowledge with underserved youngsters in the Global South.

Our World schools aim to meaningfully connect people in the Global North and South and create a knowledge-sharing economy. Besides offering knowledge that will help create equal opportunities for youngsters in the Global south, our schools aim to build meaningful one-on-one connections between volunteers and learners.

As volunteers transfer functional skills and knowledge to their counterparts, they will gain local and cultural knowledge-helping build a more equitable society.
