Enjoy this incredibly exciting experience as a family or small group where you can get up and close with one of the most endearing creatures on the Planet- the Sloth. And what better place than Costa Rica to get up and close with them. In this interactive session, you will learn many fun facts about Sloths from a local wildlife expert who has dedicated his life to studying them.

The Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica is a privately owned animal rescue center located near the city of Cahuita. The Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, research, and release of injured or orphaned sloths. The session includes a tour of the sanctuary where you will also be able to see a variety of toucans, parrots, macaws, owls, sloths, spider monkeys, weasels, and more. Like the rest of our experiences, this is an interactive session where you can ask the expert questions as they take you around the sanctuary.

Charly is one of the Executive Producers at Globe from Home and brings more than two decades of experience in Tourism management into creating special travel experiences.

Charly has been involved in campaigns involving the conservation of environment and is an active team member in our Responsible Tourism projects. His other interests include listening to music and driving.
