Join us for an insightful one-hour virtual session as we explore the importance of clean energy through a live trip to Rwanda. In this session, we'll shine a light on the challenges faced by communities reliant on wood, charcoal, and kerosene for cooking and lighting, and delve into innovative solutions provided by local organizations.
In Rwanda, many communities still rely on traditional methods for cooking and lighting, which come with various health, environmental, and economic challenges. Through live footage and firsthand accounts, we'll witness the realities of these communities and understand the urgent need for clean energy solutions.
During our journey, we'll meet with organizations actively working to address these challenges. One such organization is dedicated to providing clean cooking solutions to communities, offering alternatives to traditional cooking methods that are safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly. We'll learn about the impact of these solutions on health, air quality, and women's empowerment.
We'll also connect with organizations focused on finding clean lighting solutions for schools. In many rural areas, inadequate lighting infrastructure hampers educational opportunities for children. These organizations are working to install clean lighting systems in schools, ensuring a conducive learning environment and improving educational outcomes for students.
Throughout the session, participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts and community members, gaining insights into the practical challenges and innovative solutions in the field of clean energy. Whether you're interested in environmental sustainability, social impact, or global development, this session will provide valuable perspectives and inspire meaningful action.
Join us as we journey to Rwanda and explore how clean energy initiatives are making a difference in the lives of communities and shaping a more sustainable future for all.
