Globe From Home’s ‘Planet School’ program is the world’s first live, virtual, globe-travel-based climate & sustainability awareness course for schools.

As students embark on live-streamed virtual trips to different countries, they will witness the impact of climate change firsthand, interact with others around the planet, and experientially learn about global best practices in sustainability. The program engages students from across the world in a shared learning experience leading to international collaboration and tangible climate action. (The shared program comprises eight one-hour sessions over four months. Register your school for a free place in our March or August 2025 batches.)

  • Travel to different countries in real time on live, virtual trips to witness the impact of climate change through the lens of social inequality and climate justice.
  • Learn about key sectors that contribute to climate change.
  • Learn about global best practices in sustainability.

  • Develop global awareness and foster an understanding of our interconnectedness beyond cultural and geographical boundaries.

  • Develop awareness of personal strengths and develop sense of agency and self-worth.
  • Learn strategies for building resilience, managing emotions and handling conflicts.

  • Apply learnings from previous modules to develop a local community-based climate action project.
  • Collaborate in groups, conduct research and develop solutions.
  • Present climate action project to students from other countries at the Conference of Planet Schools (COPS) event.

Conference of Planet Schools (COPS)

K-12 Schools completing the ‘Planet School’ program will be able to participate in the Conference of Planet Schools (COPS) - Globe From Home’s annual virtual climate & sustainability summit.

Held over three days towards the end of the year, the COPS aims to be the world’s largest international students conference.Participants from around the world will come together to discuss climateimpact in their respective countries, showcase the climate action they have engagedin, and plan for the future. The conference will be a unique opportunity for participants to learn from the world’s leading experts, scientists and thought leaders.

This version of the program is offered as a shared learning experience for schools around the world on fixed dates over four months. (Batches start in March and August 2025. Best suited for ages 10 and above.)
