Get up and close to Sloths in Costa Rica

What better way to relax and unwind as a team that to get up and close with one of the most endearing creatures on the Planet- the Sloth. And what better place than Costa Rica to get up and close with them. In this interactive session, you will learn many fun facts about Sloths from a local wildlife expert who has dedicated his life to studying them.

Perhaps the most fascinating part of going on this tour is seeing how human contact has an effect on the Sloth. Often when Sloths are taken out of the wild and introduced to humans, they will begin to form a bond with them. More often than not these bonds result in life-long friendships which have been documented many times over around the world.

The Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica is a privately owned animal rescue center located near the city of Cahuita. The Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, research, and release of injured or orphaned sloths. The session includes a tour of the sanctuary where you will also be able to see a variety of toucans, parrots, macaws, owls, sloths, spider monkeys, weasels, and more. Like the rest of our experiences, this is an interactive session where you can ask the expert questions as they take you around the sanctuary.The tour is led by one of our expert guides who has an established background working with wildlife.
