The World’s Largest Youth Climate Summit

COPS 26 is the world’s first youth-led global climate summit - modelled on the UN COP - but reimagined for and led entirely by the world’s youth.

For its inaugural edition, high schools and universities that have completed the Globe From Home Planet School climate education program will join virtually from around the world to discuss local climate impacts and showcase solutions, while selected student delegates from each country gather in Madagascar to negotiate measurable national youth climate targets (Y-NDCs). The summit ends with the signing of the first-ever Planetary Youth Climate Accord to shape a united, youth-led global agenda for reducing emissions.
