Overview

A part of our Modern Seven Wonders series for children, this tour takes children on a visit to one of the greatest monuments on the planet. An expert on the Taj will take children on a virtual journey where they will learn about the history of the monument, its intricate architecture, and modern day efforts to conserve it.

This magnificent mausoleum is a symmetrical masterpiece that took 22 years of concerted effort by as many as 20,000 workers to complete and is one of the seven wonders of the world. The designs and decorations are stunning in their lavish detail and the use of semi-precious stones. Although the Taj is one of the most photographed edifices in the world and is instantly recognised by people, seeing it for real is an awe-inspiring experience.
